On Saturday morning we went down to Ahipara beach for, fish and chips. We usually go to Kerikeri on Saturday, but because of lockdown we went to go to get Ahipara instead. After we had fish and chips on the beach, we went to go explore the Rock pools. While we were walking around the rock pools I spotted a huge pool I could swim in. Luckily we had the wetsuit in the car so I could go swimming. I had a great time skimming across the water with my surfboard. It got cold after a while, so I went to go look for a another rock pool to swim in. About 10 seconds later I found a huge pool probably about 2 metres deep. It was just like a hole in the ground filled with water. So naturally I did what any 12 year old boy would do, I jumped in. It was so much fun, but eventually we had to go home. I hope you liked my blog Post, if you did please leave a comment. What have you been doing in lockdown?
